Sy Damle is a partner at Latham & Watkins, where he represents technology companies in copyright litigation, regulatory, and counseling matters, particularly in the artificial intelligence, software and music streaming industries.   Before joining the private sector, he was the General Counsel of the U.S. Copyright Office.  Mr. Damle is an advisor to the American Law Institute’s Restatement of Copyright Law project.
