Danielle serves as a partner in the intellectual property group at ArentFox Schiff LLP in Washington, D.C., focusing on copyright issues related to the internet, e-commerce, and technology. She counsels clients on a variety of complex business and intellectual property matters, including with respect to the creation, ownership, licensing, use, and enforcement of works of authorship. Danielle is responsible for spearheading and managing a high volume of disputes. Her copyright litigations often involve online content, software, artwork, apparel, photographs, and videos. She has represented some of the largest media and retail companies and often advises clients with respect to issues of first impression, including those concerning infringement and artificial intelligence. As a trusted advisor, Danielle frequently analyzes and synthesizes detailed IP-related statutes, cases, and contract provisions. She enjoys helping clients navigate new technologies, grow and maintain their brand assets, and develop creative solutions.
Danielle previously served as chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the National Bar Association, hosted the Diversity in Tech and IP Awards, and has presented numerous Continuing Legal Education courses on IP hot topics and trends. Prior to being an attorney, Danielle lived in New York City and worked as an associate producer and multi-media journalist for several major news outlets.
