Melissa Eckhause is an Assistant Professor of Law and the founder and co-director of the Arts & Entertainment Law Clinic at Detroit Mercy Law. Through her work at the clinic, she has advised both claimants and respondents in CCB matters. She also has received a Thomas Edison Innovation Law and Policy Fellowship to study the CCB. Prior to entering academia, Professor Eckhause was an intellectual property and commercial litigator with several major law firms.
