CSUSA Annual Meeting 2015

The Annual Meeting is our largest event of the year, drawing members of the copyright community from across the U.S. and beyond. The schedule will provide ample opportunity to connect with old friends and to make new ones!

The Meeting will also include the presentation of the Volunteer of the Year and Excellence in Creativity Awards, the Annual Softball Classic and the McKay Tennis Tournament, and recreational activities that take advantage of the Newport setting. New attendees will have the opportunity to participate in our host-hostee program and attend a special reception.

CSUSA will be applying for 6-8 CLE credits, including 1 ethics credit, for the Annual Meeting sessions.

Bringing a Guest?
To increase the options available to guests of attendees, we’ve adopted an “à la carte” system. You may purchase guest tickets for the individual receptions and meals while completing your own registration. Or you can do it later—see “Related Products” on the event page.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

A full refund will be issued if a cancellation is received in writing by May 29, 2015. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations after May 29, 2015. Registrations are transferable.

The 2015 Annual Meeting is being held at The Newport Marriott, located at 25 America’s Cup Ave, Newport, RI 02840. Through May 15, 2015, a special group rate of $229/night plus tax is available to attendees. As of May 12, 2015, there
are a small number of rooms left at the special rate. Reservations may be made online at the CSUSA Marriott website or over the phone by calling (401) 849-1000. If booking by phone, be sure to mention ‘The Copyright Society’ to receive the group rate.

Alternative Hotel Accommodations
We have made arrangements for Annual Meeting attendees to receive a discounted rate at The Hotel Viking Newport, which is four blocks from the Newport Marriott, through May 22, 2015. The rate will be $229/night plus tax for a Manor Guest Room (one queen bed) or $249 for a Newport Guest Room (two queen beds). A $14/night resort fee will also be added.
