Andrew Moore is the Principal Counsel and Director for Copyright Policy at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where he oversees USPTO’s copyright policy team and is responsible for domestic and international copyright policy. Previously, Andrew served as an Attorney-Advisor at the USPTO and worked as Corporate Counsel at Elsevier. He began is legal career as a Barbara A. Ringer Honors Fellow (Attorney-Advisor) at the U.S. Copyright Office.

He earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law, and his bachelor’s degree in Business Legal Studies from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, minored in Music; Communication and Culture.
