Amy Mellman received her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2015 and her B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Florida in 2012. She began her legal career in the Business Affairs department at ICM Partners, where she worked with agents and clients across multiple divisions, with a particular focus on media rights, podcasting, and theater. In 2022, Amy joined Anonymous Content as Senior Director of Business & Legal Affairs. In that role, she worked closely with the media rights team and external publishing agents to negotiate and review agreements for the acquisition of literary works for adaptation into film and television. Amy has extensive experience working with authors, journalists, playwrights, and screenwriters, and is passionate about helping artists protect and maximize their intellectual property rights. She is currently freelancing and in the process of launching her own solo practice.
