Lutz specializes in intellectual property and technology law, platform regulation and digital consumer protection law. Lutz has extensive experience advising clients in complex tech and IP driven matters, in sectors such as tech and automative. He is part of our global Dispute Resolution group.
Lutz focuses on new technologies such as AI, and digital issues in connected environments such as the Internet of Things (IoT), and on complex licensing matters, often in cross-border scenarios. He is equally comfortable in Soft IP litigation as well as strategic advisory work and IP-driven collaborations and transactions in the tech space. Lutz’ practical experience is built on his academic background, including a Master’s in Information Law and Doctorate Degree in Vienna, a Master’s of Law at the University of British Columbia and several years as research assistant at university and research institutes such as the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute.
