Pin-Ping is an IP partner in the international law firm, Bird & Bird. She specialises in IP disputes – including copyright, trade mark and patent infringement litigation. She is also part of the firm’s Media, Entertainment & Sports section, and has advised and acted for leading companies in the media, entertainment and technology sectors, including both rightsholders and users alike, in a wide range of IP-related matters. Being not only a lawyer, but also a patent attorney with Chemical Engineering degree, Pin-Ping has a keen interest in how things work. This helps her to better appreciate the technology underlying many IP issues. These days, she is especially excited about how AI has challenged many aspects of copyright law, and is eager to see how the law will develop.
