Erin Smith Dennis has more than a decade of experience advocating on behalf of both music creators and music services.  Ms. Dennis began her career as a litigator at Paul, Weiss in New York City, where she focused on U.S. performing rights organization litigation and regulation.  She later focused her practice on representing music publishers and songwriters in copyright infringement cases and contracting disputes at Loeb and Loeb, LLP.  Now, as Music Counsel at Google/YouTube, she works with music publishing partners to protect the fair value of music on YouTube, and to bring new and exciting music products to market to ensure that YouTube continues to be the best online service for music fans worldwide.
