Jesse K. Martin is Senior Vice President & Associate General Counsel, Litigation & Legal Affairs for the Motion Picture Association.  In this role, Jesse manages the global anti-piracy litigation portfolio, as well as intermediary outreach programs focused on disrupting piracy services’ use of legitimate third-party services in their illegal operations.  Jesse works closely with outside counsel, technical experts, attorneys internally and at the MPA member studios.  Prior to joining the MPA, Jesse served as Associate General Counsel & Senior Director, Compliance Solutions for BSA | The Software Alliance (BSA) in Washington, DC.  While at BSA, she spent more than a decade developing and implementing strategies for end-user enforcement programs throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to protect member companies’ intellectual property through civil, criminal, and administrative legal actions.  Prior to BSA, Jesse spent six years as a litigation associate at the law firm Troutman Sanders, LLP (now Troutman Pepper).
