While the advent of digital music, file sharing, sampling, and streaming already stirred panic in the industry over the past 40 years – today’s AI-generated music is stoking new concerns for enforcement, expression, and originality. Musicologist Judith Finell will discuss this topic, and will demonstrate recent developments in Chat-GPT music applications.
