The panel will discuss various aspects the intersection of generative AI and DEI. There will be some discussion about implicit bias. There will be discussion about the risk of appropriation of content and property from indigenous peoples and other underrepresented groups. How IP has allowed for this misappropriation to be financially beneficial to groups at the expense of others and the power of AI to greatly increase the misappropriation. There will also be discussion about the greatly improved access to professional services for underrepresented people who can, for example, use a free program to generate a contract that they couldn’t afford otherwise.

Program will begin at 12pm PDT/3pm EDT on Zoom.
