Sherman Nealy case which is before the U.S. Supreme Court after the emergence of circuit split following the Court’s 2015 decision in Petrella v. MGM, to answer the following narrowed question presented: “Whether the Copyright Act’s statute of limitations for civil actions, 17 U.S.C. 507(b), precludes retrospective relief for acts that occurred more than three years before the filing of a lawsuit.”
