A core component of the CASE Act was the formation of the Copyright Claims Board, a three-member tribunal with extensive expertise in copyright law, which would be the forum for cases brought under the new mechanism. The CCB began to hear cases in June 2022. With this program, the New York Chapter is honored to host Monica McCabe, one of the three CCB officers, who will provide her perspectives on the Board’s progress and activities over the first year of its existence.
