Attorney Thomas Hemnes will
examine common pitfalls in drafting these standard clauses, and suggest
alternatives to standard copyright and intellectual property
indemnification provisions.


Mr.
Hemnes, one of the founders of the New England Chapter of the Copyright
Society, is a partner at GTC Law Group LLP, where he represents a wide
variety of clients with significant copyright and other intellectual
property interests.   A member of the Bar in Massachusetts, England and
Wales, Mr. Hemnes has presented and published frequently on intellectual
property and commercial topics.  His two most recent articles are The
