Copyright + Technology 2022 
is our annual conference that focuses on the dramatic and fast-moving influences that technology has on copyright
in the digital age. We are the unique forum where technologists, attorneys, media industry professionals, and public policy decision makers come together for in-depth dialog on current hot topics related to copyright and technology.
This year the conference will be held in person at Fordham Law School and virtually via live webcasts on September 13th.

In-Person Registration

Registrants attending in person must be fully vaccinated. Full vaccination is two weeks after your second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. Or two weeks post second dose after receiving a single-dose vaccine, such as the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccine.  People who remain unvaccinated for any reason are not permitted to attend the in-person conference, but may register to attend the sessions virtually. 

Please be prepared to show proof of full vaccination at check-in. Acceptable forms of proof of COVID vaccination include:

  • CDC COVID-19 vaccination card;
  • Verification form with QR code or
  • Digital pass with smartphone QR code (e.g. United Kingdom National Health Service COVID Pass, European Union Digital COVID certificate).
 

Virtual Registration

If you Instructions for joining the sessions will be emailed to registrants prior to the start of the conference. The live panels will be hosted on Zoom. For helpful tips on using Zoom and getting started, please refer to our Zoom Guide.


Half-Day Registration

If you would like to attend for a half day only, you may select the morning or afternoon sessions on your registration form.  The morning track includes sessions 1, 2 and the keynote.  The afternoon track includes the keynote plus sessions 3 and 4. Half-day registrants are welcome to attend meals.

Cancellation Policy

A full refund will be issued if a cancellation is received in writing by Friday, September 9, 2022. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations after September 9, 2022. Registrations are transferable. Please email cancellation or transfer requests to Roberta (Bobby) Cohen at bcohen@csusa.org. If you are transferring your registration to someone else, please include the new registrant’s name, job title, firm or company, and workplace city/state.

CLE INFORMATION

The Copyright + Technology sessions will be live, interactive, and allow for questions. Each track will provide Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits for the states listed below. Virtual attendees: please note that the amount of CLE credit that may be obtained through electronic delivery varies by state.  Instructions for verifying attendance will be emailed to registrants prior to the program.

Arizona
Attorneys must self report their CLE hours. The Copyright + Tech sessions are interactive and a certificate of attendance will be provided. Total minutes of instruction: 300.

California
Approved. Full program: 5.0 participatory credits / Half day: 3.0 participatory credits.

New Jersey
Approved. Full program: 5.0 general CLE credits / Half day: 3.0 general CLE credits. Attorneys will be sent a New York CLE Certificate of Attendance as New York is an approved jurisdiction and the Copyright Society is a Certified NYS CLE Provider.

New York 
Approved. Full program: 6.0 credits / Half day: 3.0 credits. The intermediate program is transitional and appropriate for both newly admitted attorneys and experienced attorneys.

Ontario
Attorneys must self report their CPD substantive hours. A certificate of attendance will be provided for your records. Total minutes of instruction: 300.

Pennsylvania
Approved. Full program: 6.0 credits / Half day: 3.0 credits.
