Our expert panelists will discuss their own career paths, their experience practicing copyright and entertainment law in the Southeast, and their thoughts on relevant copyright issues. SPEAKERS: Lauren Estrin – Assistant General Counsel, Turner Sports and Bleacher Report Lauren Estrin has worked for Turner for the past nine years, currently serving as Assistant General Counsel for Turner Sports and Bleacher Report. Prior to her time at Turner, Ms. Estrin worked at Kilpatrick Stockton LLP as an associate in the intellectual property practice group. Austin Padgett – Partner, Troutman Sanders LLP Austin Padgett is a partner at Troutman Sanders LLP. His practice focuses on copyright, trademark, and advertising issues. Lisa Moore – Managing Member, Moore Pequignot LLC Lisa Moore, past Chair of the Entertainment Section for the State Bar of Georgia, is a managing member of Moore Pequignot LLC. Ms. Moore has previously served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Georgia School of Law, where she taught Entertainment Law and Visual Arts and the Law, as well as at Georgia State University where she taught Copyright Law as an adjunct. Ms. Moore currently counsels a diverse range of clients on contracts, licensing, copyright, trademark, First Amendment issues and all other legal aspects of the art, entertainment, intellectual property, film, television, music and literary publishing businesses. Rebecca Sergay- University Attorney, Savannah College of Art and Design Rebecca Sergay is in-house counsel for The Savannah College of Art and Design.She manages all entertainment and media transactional matters for the university globally, including all art, film, music and talent matters.Before joining SCAD, Rebecca was an entertainment and media attorney at Greenberg Traurig, where her practice focused on the intersection of music and technology.She began her career at Kilpatrick Townsend, where she focused on technology licensing and other complex commercial transactions.
