Noel Cook

Noel is a partner at Hanson Bridgett LLP in San Francisco. He co-chairs the firm’s intellectual property practice group, and concentrates on copyright and trademark enforcement, litigation, portfolio management, counseling, prosecution and licensing. One of his specialties is the protection and enforcement of designs and images. He also litigates business disputes, including trade secret matters. Noel has experience working with clients in a variety of fields, including product and furniture design, character merchandising, software/Internet, music and the outdoor and retail industries.

Noel is currently a member of the Board of Directors of INTA (the International Trademark Association), and is a past member of the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees of the Copyright Society. In addition, Noel is a frequent speaker on copyright and trademark law at INTA, Copyright Society and ABA meetings, among others, on topics including product design protection, trademarks on the Internet and damages in trademark and copyright cases.
