Matthew Moore

Matthew Moore is General Counsel at Created by Humans, an AI Rights licensing platform that connects copyright holders and AI developers and is on a mission to preserve human creativity and make it thrive in the AI era. Matthew has been a trusted legal leader for innovative, high-growth companies (former Chief Legal Officer/General Counsel at Influential and Senior Counsel/Assistant General Counsel at BuzzFeed) for more than a decade and has over 20 years of experience in the media and entertainment industries. He received his Juris Doctor at Brooklyn Law School where he received the graduation prize for entertainment law and is admitted to the New York and Vermont State Bars. Moore is a published author and seasoned presenter to audiences ranging from NPR’s All Things Considered and national legal conferences to colleges and law schools. He’s also a diehard music fan and occasional NYC DJ.
