Matt Skelton

Matt Skelton is Senior Corporate Counsel at Microsoft and a frequent speaker on copyright and technology issues. During his time at Microsoft, Matt has supported games including Halo, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Age of Empires, and Gears of War on all aspects of game development, publishing, and IP licensing, and was the primary attorney for Mixer, a live video streaming service. He has also taught copyright at Seattle University School of Law, and volunteers time with Washington Lawyers for the Arts. Prior to Microsoft, Matt was an Attorney-Advisor at the U.S. Copyright Office. He is a graduate of Antonin Scalia Law School, and Belmont University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music.
