Kerri Ellenberger

Kerri is a proud copyright enthusiast with over 15 years of experience in the publishing industry, beginning in retail catalogs and advancing to EdTech solutions. As a leader, Kerri focuses on three main areas: leveraging emerging technology and frameworks to optimize team performance, aligning business strategy with third-party IP sourcing strategies, and fostering future leaders through coaching and mentorship. Kerri’s unique blend of experience in creative industries, sales, and risk mitigation enables her to devise innovative solutions to longstanding challenges.

In her most recent role, Kerri is leading an enterprise-wide initiative to enhance internal efficiency and productization through Generative AI. She has a proven track record in building robust client and vendor partnerships, designing efficient operational processes, negotiating successfully, and developing digital products. Currently, Kerri serves as the Vice President of IP Acquisition, Creation, and Compliance at HMH.

Kerri holds certifications as a Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. She has also contributed to the Copyright Society Annual Planning Committee (23/24), the DEI Committee, and the Fundraising Committee (24/25).
