Erika Stallings

Erika Stallings is senior product counsel at Epic Games where she oversees all legal matters for Bandcamp, an online music marketplace. She also advises on copyright enforcement policies and music licensing as it relates to user generated content within Epic’s Unreal Editor for Fortnite product.

Prior to joining Epic Games she worked as an associate general counsel for music product at Meta Platforms, Inc., f/k/a Facebook where she worked with product teams across the family of apps to advise on the use of licensed music and user generated content. She has previously held positions at BMI and spent the first seven years of her career in private practice focused on copyright and trademark litigation.

She is the co-chair for the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Associate Board. She is also an active freelance writer and has been published in the New York Times, O Magazine, NPR, and The Cut.
