Diana Stern is an innovative leader with over a decade of experience in the crypto industry. She currently serves as the General Counsel of Palm NFT Studio and previously held an additional role as Interim CEO. Diana and her team played a pivotal role in developing novel IP and regulatory strategies that contributed to the company’s wins, such as the launch of their Webby-nominated platform that positioned DC Comics among the top 5 most engaged-with brands in web3. Beyond the Studio, Diana operates a consulting practice where she has collaborated with best-selling artists, venture-backed startups, and a Fortune 500 company on blockchain-based applications for the media industry. Her leadership in the realm of NFTs and IP predates the ERC-721 standard and continues to evolve, evidenced by her co-authored paper published by the United Nations’ Internet Governance Forum in 2016 and recent contributions to Coindesk on NFT policy.

Previously, Diana was a founding member of the global crypto teams at Stripe and Orrick, co-creator of a new commercial instrument adopted by thousands of blockchain startups, and the legal innovation designer at BakerHostetler, where she spearheaded the first enterprise smart contracts at big law firms. She actively participates in the legal tech community as a co-organizer of Legal Hackers and Editorial Board of the MIT Computational Law Report.
