CeCe Cole IP Counsel Versant Media CeCe Cole serves as IP Counsel at Versant Media, the parent company of leading cable networks including MS NOW, CNBC, E!, and USA Network along with digital properties such as Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, and GolfPass. CeCe specifically works with the News, E!, Live Entertainment, Fandango, and Rotten Tomatoes teams to advise on a range of intellectual property matters including trademark clearance and copyright claims. She also spearheads Versant’s programmatic IP enforcement efforts and partners with the Cyber team to monitor piracy tips. Prior to joining Versant, CeCe worked for a boutique law firm focusing on litigation, counseling, and dispute resolution in connection with intellectual property, media, and entertainment matters. CeCe has been recognized by Best Lawyers as Ones to Watch for IP Law and Litigation, New York Metro’s Super Lawyers as a Rising Star, and New York Law Journal as a Rising Star. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Copyright Society. CeCe graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with a concentration in intellectual property where she served as an Executive Editor of the Cardozo Alternative Dispute Resolution Competition Honor Society and as the President of the Cardozo Entertainment Law Society. CeCe earned her Bachelor of Science in Management degree from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
