Brian Collins

Brian Collins serves as Senior Vice President of Intellectual Property at NBCUniversal. Based in Universal City, he oversees a team of attorneys and analysts that advise and collaborate with NBCUniversal entertainment divisions worldwide (across live-action and animated film / television, theme park, and merchandising) on production, distribution, and ancillary rights issues, including copyright issues that arise throughout the entire lifecycle of IP. Before making the transition in-house, Brian worked as an IP litigator at the Los Angeles offices of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP.  Prior to Quinn Emanuel, Brian completed a judicial clerkship for the Honorable William B. Shubb at the U.S. District Court (Eastern District of California). He graduated from New York University School of Law and received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis.
