Barry Werbin

Barry Werbin heads Herrick, Feinstein LLP’s Intellectual Property Group. Barry concentrates his litigation and transactional practice in intellectual property and online issues (including copyright, trademark, trade dress, unfair competition, false advertising, publicity rights, trade secrets, domain name issues, digital rights protection, licensing, marketing and sponsorship agreements, IP due diligence and exploitation rights) and technology (software and SaaS/cloud licensing and development, data licensing, IT support, website development/hosting, and data breaches).  Barry is currently a Trustee of the Copyright Society of the USA and former co-Chair of its NY Chapter.  Barry previously served as Chair of the NYS Bar Association’s Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section and is a member of its Executive Committee.  Barry also was prior Chair of the NYC Bar Association’s Copyright Committee, of which he is an adjunct member.”
