Aldo de Landa has been a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Department of Arochi & Lindner’s Mexico office since 2000. He has more than 20 years of experience in intellectual property consulting and litigation, including complex disputes in trademarks, copyrights, unfair competition and information technologies matters. Aldo has been recognized by several specialized publications, including IP Stars, World Trademark Review (WTR) and Who’s Who Legal (WWL).

Aldo has successfully litigated several trademark and copyright infringement cases and cancellation and invalidation proceedings, as well as domain name disputes before WIPO and amparos before federal courts. Aldo has advised and implemented successful legal strategies to protect the intellectual property rights of leading companies in different industries, including media and entertainment, fashion, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals and tobacco.

Aldo has a Law Degree from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and has a Master’s Degree in Law with a specialty in Intellectual Property from University College London. He is a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Copyright Society of the United States (CSUSA), the European Trademark Association MARQUES and the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI), where he currently is a member of the Board of Directors. Furthermore, Aldo is a professor at the Universidad Panamericana and has given courses and conferences at different institutions and forums at a national and international level. Aldo worked in 2009 as Deputy Project Director of the National Copyright Institute.
