Meem Arafat Manab is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie doctoral fellow at the Ontology Engineering Group, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and a Research Associate (pro bono) at Trinity College Dublin. Their research examines the legal and technical governance gap of European Data Spaces. They hold a European Master in Law, Data and AI (Dublin City University / Universidad de León, Erasmus Mundus) and a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering (University of Dhaka). Their work spans AI regulation, privacy law, digital forensics, and ontology engineering. They have published on generative AI and copyright, machine learning and the right to erasure, and cascading classifier failures in child safety detection systems. They are a Research Associate at Trinity College Dublin’s School of Religion and a contributor to the AIAAIC Repository.
