Dinara Kamalov Senior Attorney NYS Office of Information Technology Services Dinara Kamalov is a Senior Attorney with the New York State Office of Information Technology Services, where she advises on technology procurement, artificial intelligence, data governance, cybersecurity, and intellectual property issues. Previously, Dinara spent six years at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, serving in the Patent and Technology Law Division, the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center, and the Hague Registry. Her work focused on international intellectual property law and policy, legislative assistance to governments, patent and technology law, domain name disputes, and cross-border IP issues. Dinara’s practice and research center on copyright, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and international intellectual property policy. She has advised governments on IP legislation, contributed to international policy initiatives, and regularly collaborates with practitioners and policymakers on the legal implications of new technologies. She received her J.D. from New York Law School and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law from Fordham University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in New York. She is particularly interested in the intersection of copyright, artificial intelligence, and international intellectual property policy.
