Angela Baena Paez

Angela Baena Paez is Senior IP and Commercial counsel. She advises on strategic technology transactions, intellectual property licensing, mergers and acquisitions, collaborations, and commercial agreements.

A registered USPTO attorney, licensed in Florida and Wisconsin, Angela has extensive experience negotiating complex agreements involving software, artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and life sciences innovation. She is currently pursuing an MBA-International focus at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.

Angela is passionate about the evolving intersection of copyright, technology, and innovation, particularly as it relates to software, artificial intelligence, digital media, and international transactions. She enjoys collaborating with legal professionals to explore emerging issues in intellectual property law and looks forward to contributing to The Copyright Society’s educational programs, thought leadership, and member engagement.
