Nicholas Bwebare is a publishing professional, educator, and emerging literary voice. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Makerere University, Kampala, and is a former secondary school teacher. As an Associate Editor and Head of Editorial and Production Sections at Fountain Publishers, he supports, manages and supervises writers to develop quality educational learning materials following the approved curriculum for Uganda. He is also an author of secondary school materials and stands out with expertise in curriculum development.

His professional development includes certifications from the Institute of Book Publishing in New Delhi, Alison, and INASP UK, where he gained skills in digital publishing and writing for young readers. Nicholas often participates in international industry events, including seminars across Africa and Asia. He has taken part in roundtable discussions at the 2024 and 2025 World Children’s Forums in Beijing, China, and is a member of the Silk Road Club under China’s Belt and Road Initiative. Through collaborations with Fountain Publishers, Lifetree Cultural Promotion Center, and China Intercontinental Press, Nicholas developed bilingual children’s picture books in English, Chinese, and Luganda.

His debut novel, “Desire at Dawn”, explores hope, resilience, and inner strength, drawing from personal experiences. The sequel is available in Kampala bookstores, resonating with readers seeking inspiring narratives. Nicholas’s creative work stems from his love for storytelling and commitment to capturing human experience. His contributions to East Africa’s literary landscape blend emotional depth with regional authenticity, connecting with diverse audiences while empowering others through stories of transformation and resilience.
