At Symphonic, she leads legal strategy across everything from rights and royalties to AI, A&R, and data privacy—always with an eye toward enabling creators, not slowing them down. Before going in-house, Patra spent nearly two decades in private practice, including as a litigation manager and firm principal. She brings deep experience in artist management, media, and advocacy to her legal work, and is passionate about building systems that protect talent while empowering innovation. A member of The Recording Academy and founding representative serving as an Officer on the Board of the Music Fights Fraud Alliance, Patra speaks and writes regularly on music, law, and the intersections in between.
