Eriq Gardner

Eriq Gardner is a prominent legal journalist and founding partner at Puck, where he writes a weekly column, “What I’m Hearing+” and regularly appears on the podcast, “The Powers That Be.” Before joining Puck, Eriq served as the legal editor at The Hollywood Reporter, where he gained recognition for his incisive coverage of complex issues such as defamation and intellectual property. A recipient of many awards including Journalist of the Year by the Los Angeles Press Club, Eriq has also written for such outlets as Bloomberg, Slate, and New York Magazine, appeared regularly on TV newscasts, and spoken to students and professionals at Columbia Law School, University of Missouri School of Law, and various American Bar Association events.
