NY Chapter – Copyright and the Changing Political Environment in Washington: A View from the Inside

For most of our country’s history, copyright policy and legislation were largely immune from partisan rancor. The organized revolt against recent efforts to enhance copyright protections, including the SOPA and PIPA, underscores that things have changed. Panelists will explore the competing interests and ideologies that brought us here, and how the heightened role of politics in copyright.
