Andrew Moore is Acting Principal Counsel and Director for Copyright Policy at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He has served as an Attorney-Advisor at the USPTO since 2020. Previously, Andrew was Corporate Counsel at Elsevier for over two years and a Barbara A. Ringer Honors Fellow (Attorney-Advisor) at the U.S. Copyright Office.

He earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law, and his bachelor’s degree in Business Legal Studies from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, minored in Music; Communication and Culture.
